Be a Mentor or Tutor
You don't have to be a superhero to be a Mentor. You just have to spend about two hours a week being friends with a child who needs someone like you. It's easy and it's fun! All it takes is sharing everyday experiences and a combination of no and low cost activities that are fun, educational, cultural, or all three. These could be activities such as going to the park, playing games, going to events at college campuses, playing sports, visiting museums or just about anything else you can think of!

To be a Tutor you just have to spend about one hour a week helping your student with their homework and studies. You'll most likely meet at school or a library, at a time that is convenient for both of you. It's easy, it's fun, and it's rewarding! So, whether you're a high school student, college student, college-educated adult, retiree, or senior, being a tutor is an ideal way to help a child.
